Condolence: To the family of Carol Cartagena,
It’s hard to find words at a time like this. When we lose loved ones dear to us, it sometimes makes us wonder, why is life so short”? Why do we lose our loved ones in death? And can we see them again? The Bible holds out a hope for us that I personally leave found to be a comfort. I especially love the scripture found at John 5:28, 29 that says, “Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus’ voice and come out.” Jesus promises that millions now dead will live again on this earth, and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful conditions. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts can give you some comfort as they have for me.

Carol was one of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing! She had a heart of pure gold. For Carol, "family" meant everything to her and if you were lucky enough, you were embraced and became part of her extended family. She embraced me and Paul into her family and she was, without a doubt, my biggest cheerleader. I will miss her more than words can say. So sorry for your loss. Love April and Paul
