Rita Berti passed away peacefully on January 17, 2020 . She was born in Naples Italy on August 1,1928. From an early age Rita fell in love with music and the art of singing. As a teenager she began singing professionally and was quickly dubbed “La Stella Della Canzone Napoletana” or “The Star of Neopolitan Song”.

Rita was survived by her son, Vincent Passaro, daughter in law, Barbara Passaro, grandchildren Rita Nani, Francesco Passaro, Frank Nani and Alexis Passaro. Beloved great grandmother of Juliana Nani, Giordana Nani, Alessandra Nani, Francesca Passaro, , Frankie Nani and Vincent Passaro. Loved by so many and forever in our hearts.

Rita will be reposing on Monday 2-5 & 7-9:30 at Scarpaci
Funeral, 1401 86st Brooklyn NY... Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday 9:30am at St. Frances Cabrini. Cemetery of St. Charles in Farmingdale, NY.
