William F. Gough, “Bill” passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on April 10,1945 in Brooklyn, New York to Minnie and Bill senior , a longshoreman. Bill was one of five children, Linda, Judy, Elaine and Michael. In 1967 Bill followed in his Father’s foot steps and became a Longshoreman. Bill met his wife Barbara and wed in 1968 and had two children, Stacy and Billy. Bill was a proud member of the International Longshoreman Association and worked until 2023. Bill was a beloved family man and the first to dance at every family party, a friend who would share a tip on a horse and a great story teller. Bill is survived by his wife Barbara, his sister Judy, sister in law Lorraine, brother in law Anthony, his daughter Stacy, son Billy, grandchildren Bill, Matthew, Sean and Nicholas, daughter in law Patricia and son in law Adam along with countless nephews, nieces and friends. Bill will be missed, remembered and celebrated at every family gathering.
